Branding Portraits

Empowering Portraits for Women Over 40

Capture your experience, expertise, and confidence in stunning photos that elevate your brand and attract your ideal clients.

Are You Ready to Own Your Image?

Is finding the right brand photos feeling like another hurdle on your already full plate? As an entrepreneur, you’re probably juggling a million responsibilities, and the thought of awkward poses and harsh lighting might be downright daunting.

But here’s the real kicker: skipping professional photos altogether can hurt your brand.

Stock photos feel generic, selfies lack professionalism, and outdated photos don’t reflect the confident, experienced entrepreneur you are.

The result? You might feel invisible or hesitant to put yourself out there.

Without strong brand photos, you risk losing out on connecting with your ideal clients who are looking for someone they can trust and relate to.

This is where an experienced photographer comes in.

As an entrepreneur myself, I understand the unique challenges women over 40 face when it comes to brand photography.

Whether it’s finding the time, understanding your vision, or feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera, I know what you are going through!

And I’m here to help.

Brand Photography to Elevate Your Business

1. Build Trust and Credibility

Did you know you have less than 1 second to grab the attention of a potential client online?

It’s more important than ever to ensure your brand stands out from the crowd and presents as polished, established, and trustworthy.

But how important are images to your overall brand?  According to a recent study, 93% of consumers consider visual appearance the key deciding factor in their purchasing decisions. So, if your website has amateur images, it may convey a lack of professionalism and care which can drive your customers away.

Brand photography helps you to put your best foot forward, demonstrating that you take your business seriously and are committed to providing a quality experience.

2. Create a Memorable Brand Identity

Professional photography is a critical part of your brand’s identity. Using colour, composition, and location, great visuals can help define your company’s identity and values.

It can also help you stay top of mind when marketing your business. A study by MDG Solutions found that adding a picture to your marketing materials can improve recall by 65%.

Consistency in your visual language across all platforms helps make your brand experience more memorable. We can work together to create all the images you need for your various promotional materials.

3. Tell Your Brand Story

Your business has a story, and the way you tell it can help your clients connect with you on a deeper level. By capturing genuine moments and emotions that describe your work, you can show what makes your brand special and why customers should care about it.

Brand photography can illustrate your product or service in real-life situations through action and product shots. This makes it easier for your customers to see what it would be like to work with you.

Together we can design and develop your visual story that will help build an authentic connection with your ideal clients.

4. Increase Engagement and Conversions

Eye-catching visuals are the best way to grab people’s attention. But brand photography is more than just laptops and coffee cups. You need to illustrate how you work, and what’s important to you and your business.

Whether you offer a service or a product, brand photography can connect with like-minded clients. When prospective customers see you and your products in realistic scenarios, they can imagine themselves in similar situations, increasing the likelihood of them connecting with you or making a purchase.

5. Build a Community Around Your Brand

Brand photography is an absolute game-changer when it comes to creating a loyal community of customers who are passionate about your brand.

By using authentic and relatable images, you can showcase your brand’s personality and values in a way that resonates with your ideal clients. This is the key to building a lasting relationship with your audience that will keep them coming back for more.

Frequently Asked Questions

The starting rate for a Brand shoot is $650 for the sitting fee plus the additional fees for a makeup artist. This rate includes 2 retouched images. The final quote will depend on the complexity of the shoot.

In our preparation meeting we will discuss where the shoot will happen. If this is a full editorial branding package with portraits and action shots of your business then it will most likely take place in your office. If you would prefer a shoot that includes just headshots and full length portraits then if could take place in the studio or a location of your choosing.

We will have discussed many of the details of your shoot in our preparation meeting. It’s best not to have any commitments immediately before or after the shoot. If you are rushed or worried, that will come through in the images.

The shoot will take 1 hr. But plan for time before and after. It is best not to be rushed through this process.

If we have budgeted for a hair and makeup stylist then it’s best not to wear any make up to the shoot. Otherwise, bring your basic makeup and then we can do touch ups in the studio.

Think about your branding colours. You don’t have to wear that colour specifically but it’s good to have it somewhere in the image. You also want to wear clothes that are more form-fitting than loose. You need to be comfortable but clothes that show your shape are better in images. Also, consider your undergarments and make sure they smooth out any areas you want to de-emphasize. A brand photo shoot includes 2 outfits.

Brand portraits are about your individual business story. If you would like to include co-workers in your photo shoot that would be a custom quote depending on the complexity.

If you would like to do headshots for all your employees we can discuss a day rate.
