A variety of abstract images
One of my greatest influences has been the painter Georgia O’Keefe. Her ability to show us a different way of looking at landscapes and objects was masterful. She taught me to look for and celebrate abstract shapes and patterns in the natural world.
Nothing is less real than realism. Details are confusing. It is only by selection, by elimination, by emphasis that we get at the real meaning of things.
To see beauty in patterns is to discover new avenues of thought and there is beauty to be seen everywhere. This is an ever-evolving collection of abstract photography from both the studio and the outdoors.
